This brand new 2025 Raptor R arrived at our shop ready to tackle anything - we made sure its paint could handle it. We applied full-body paint protection film paired with a ceramic coating to create an invisible shield against the harsh elements this beast will face on and off the road.
How We Protected This 2025 Raptor R with Full-Body PPF and Ceramic Coating
We started with a meticulous pre-application wash and clay bar treatment to ensure the Raptor's paint was completely clean and free of any contaminants. With a truck this new, we wanted a perfect foundation before applying the protection.
The full-body PPF application was the centerpiece of this project. We carefully measured and cut premium-grade film for every vulnerable surface - hood, fenders, doors, roof, and front bumper. PPF is self-healing, so minor scratches and swirl marks that come from daily use simply disappear as the material warms up. This is exactly what a high-performance truck like the Raptor R needs.
After the film cured properly, we applied a multi-layer ceramic coating over the entire vehicle, including the PPF. This adds an extra layer of hydrophobic protection and makes cleaning significantly easier. The ceramic locks in a slick finish while the PPF underneath handles impact and abrasion protection.
